Elaine De Mattei

Elaine De Mattei is the President, Broker of Record, Founder and primary shareholder of Doors Real Estate Management, Inc. in Carlsbad, California. She is an active licensed Real Estate Broker (CA BRE #00483756,) and an active member of SANDICOR, the North San Diego County Association of Realtors, the California Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors.

Elaine has lived and worked in the Northwest San Diego County real estate market for some thirty years -- achieving superior ground-level knowledge of residential sales and rentals. She knows the area neighborhoods and “micro-markets" better than most anyone you could find. Her experience and approach to doing business plays a significant role in her company’s long-term working relationships with superior service providers and vendors, from plumbers and repairmen, to mortgage and escrow companies. Other real estate agents in the area, who are not also focused on property management, often draw on Elaine’s expertise when they have a client looking for investment property.

Through her professional affiliations, Elaine is kept current of the latest laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to real estate sales and purchases, and property management. She offers her expertise to investors, buyers, and sellers, and prides herself on providing the kind of personal, caring service that is difficult to achieve in larger organizations.

John Vogel

John is an active, licensed Real Estate Broker (CA BRE #01445571) and an active member of SANDICOR, the North San Diego County Association of Realtors, California Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. John managed another property management and sales office in Carlsbad in 2004, joined Doors in 2005 and has facilitated hundreds and hundreds of long and short term rentals in the North San Diego County Coastal area as Doors' primary Property Manager. John has a Masters Degree in Organizational Management and draws upon his years of local experience and education to provide exceptional customer service in both rental management and sales. 

Trisha Butteris

Trisha is Doors' Bookkeeper, and works primarily with the company's accounting and specialized Property Management industry software (Yardi Genesis.) She brings prior property management experience and a decade of bookkeeping, receivables and collections expertise. Trisha has a AA degree in Accounting, is always happy to supply customer support, and manages Door's Vendor Relations accounts and general office matters.

Rand De Mattei 

Rand is Doors' Business Manager and Corporate Secretary with primary responsibility in matters concerning the corporation. When in Doors' offices, Rand also serves as a roving linebacker, troubleshooting and dealing with all manner of issues from website management, to Doors all-important customer service tasks. Rand holds a Degree from Purdue University's Krannert School of Industrial Management. He brings business management, marketing, analysis and planning experience from years working with two Fortune 100 firms (McGraw-Hill Publications and Chiquita Brands International,) a Los Angeles research company, and years of business consulting experience (startup strategies, business plan creation, professional writing, marketing and database authoring.)

Vendors and Independent Contractors

Doors is continually developing its network of relationships with local venders and sub-contractors who perform critical services at its managed properties. Many vendors enjoy long term relationships with Doors after demonstrating their abilities. It is hard to overstate how important it is to find and maintain good working relationships with local, reasonably priced, dependable and high quality vendors.
